Schneider Electric is one of the world’s leading energy companies striving to help secure its customers’ post-pandemic recovery and sustainable future through innovation. Schneider Electric turned to us as an open innovation partner to run their first accelerator program in Israel to identify active Industry 4.0 startups that could enhance their energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability.
Aligned with Schneider Electric agenda, priorities and Israel's market strengths, the program focused on three Industry 4.0 sub-sectors: Connected Workers, Supply Chain Resiliency, and Smart Manufacturing. The program's selection committee, composed of Schneider Electric executives and SOSA innovation experts, reviewed 100+ applications, from which selected 5 exceptional Israeli startups to join the first cohort and advance their innovative ideas, technologies, and products towards a more sustainable and efficient world. The selected cohort included: Aperio Systems, BionicHive, PerCiv, Saccade Vision, Vanti Analytics
Designed to provide the cohort with a set of tools required for successfully building and managing a global company, the program included mentorship, market introductions, and training workshops in business and technology by Schneider Electric, SOSA, Grove Ventures, and other stakeholders from the Israeli ecosystem.

THE RESULTS
Five Solutions.
Two Implementations.
After working closely with a paired Schneider Electric executive, each company built and executed a proof-of concept (POC), presenting their refined solutions at the GENESIS Demo Event. Two companies have continued working closely with Schneider Electric executives to develop technologies for use cases oriented towards SE’s needs. Focused on testing 3D inspection for EV manufacturing, one use-case sought to identify defects in the production and assembly processes; the startup and Schneider Electric were able to validate the product-market fit with SE’s client. The second current use-case is testing to detect failure causes of critical components in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
The Genesis program by Schneider Electric and SOSA provided us with the right combination of mentorship from first class entrepreneurs, investors and executives, together with practical steps towards the POC with Schneider Electric and great exposure to Schneider's team worldwide. The ability to understand and navigate the decision making process in a large multi-national corporation is a great plus of this program.
